Company Description
EPIQ's tale is not as grandiose as one might expect from the name. The company provides contract electronic manufacturing services primarily for clients in the European automotive industry. It also serves the consumer electronics and personal communications sectors, among others. EPIQ makes electronic and electro-mechanical systems and subsystems, such as printed circuit boards and injection-molded plastic parts, as well as other drive and control elements. The company also offers engineering, R&D, and logistics management services. It agreed to sell its units in Bulgaria, Mexico, and the Czech Republic to Integrated Microelectronics in 2011. Belgian investment group Elex NV owns about 79% of EPIQ.
