Situated in towns with populations of 5,000 or fewer, ALCO stores offer a broad line of merchandise that includes automotive, apparel, consumables, crafts, electronics, fabrics, furniture, hardware, health and beauty aids, toys, and more. The company has closed its chain of smaller Duckwall stores to focus on growing the larger and more profitable ALCO chain.
