Although many "Ducatists" prefer performance over comfort, Ducati has attempted to expand into new markets with new products, including touring bikes and a supermoto model. The company operates nearly 160 Ducati Stores in major Italian cities, as well as in New York, Frankfurt, London, Cape Town, Tokyo, and Sydney. Ducati sells its motorcycles worldwide. Italy and the US, each of which account for about a quarter of sales, are the company's largest single markets.
