Company Description

DuPont China Holding Company provides more than 200 products in areas such as synthetic fiber, agriculture, chemicals, and electronics. The company's product line includes such brands as Corian for home surfaces, Teflon for cooking utensils, and Tyvek for protective building materials. Other brands include Nomex (heat insulator) and Indoxacarb (insecticide). DuPont China -- a subsidiary of DuPont -- was established in Shenzhen in 1984 and operates through nearly 40 subsidiaries and joint ventures in the country. The DuPont segments most active in the country are Safety & Protection, Performance Materials, and Electronic & Communication Technologies.
