Company Description

Direct Selling Association promotes the business interests of Avon ladies, Fuller Brush men, and Tupperware peddlers everywhere. The organization represents more than 200 companies that make and distribute a variety of goods and services directly to consumers including Discovery Toys, Herbalife, and The Longaberger Company. All member companies pledge to follow the group's code of ethics, which includes a ban on deceptive practices. Some 90% of direct sellers conduct their business on a part-time basis. DSA provides its members with a research center, publications, seminars, and an annual meeting. The group was formed as the Agents Credit Association in 1910.
