Direct Selling Association promotes the business interests of Avon ladies, Fuller Brush men, and Tupperware peddlers everywhere. The organization represents more than 200 companies that make and distribute a variety of goods and services directly to consumers including Discovery Toys , Herbalife , and The Longaberger Company . All member companies pledge to follow the group's code of ethics, which includes a ban on deceptive practices. Some 90% of direct sellers conduct their business on a part-time basis.
