Combined, the three sites serve about 16 million visitors each month. Its CleverKeys is a free download that lets users access its Web databases from any application, not just the Internet. Revenue comes mainly from ad sales, but the company also offers a subscription service for premium content on its sites. The company, formerly Lexico Publishing Group, was founded in 1995 by CEO Brian Kariger and COO Daniel Fierro.
