DePuy Orthopaedics, a subsidiary of DePuy (itself part of Johnson & Johnson, or J&J), is one of the largest designers, manufacturers, and distributors of orthopedic devices and supplies. In addition to replacement joints, its product line includes the Ci system, which includes computer hardware and software needed to assist surgeons in procedures such as full knee replacement surgery and ligament balancing. DePuy Orthopaedics also makes bone graft materials, cements, operating room equipment, and stabilizers (pins, wires, and screws) used in orthopaedic trauma surgery procedures.
