Company Description
DENSO Manufacturing Michigan (DMMI) doesn't make the Great Lake State, but it does make part of what makes Michigan famous. The company, a subsidiary of Japan's DENSO CORPORATION, is a manufacturer of automotive heating and cooling components, and systems, including car heater assemblies, condensers, cooling unit assemblies, evaporators, oil coolers, and radiators. Customers are major auto OEMs, such as Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, GM, and Chrysler. DMMI was established in 1986; its facility is located on more than 85 acres, operating a million square feet of manufacturing, warehouse, and administrative floor space. A conservative employer, DMMI has avoided workforce reductions even during the economic recession.
