Davis Selected Advisers (sometimes known as Davis Advisors) manages a family of about half-a-dozen mutual funds and holds significant equity interests in several public firms. Serving both individual and institutional investors, the company oversees approximately $35 billion in assets, including some $1.5 billion from the founding Davis family and Davis Advisors employees and directors. Most of the company's assets under management are held in its flagship Davis New York Venture Fund, which mainly invests in large US companies. Davis Advisors also manages a real estate fund, a global equities fund, and a government bond fund, among others.
