Company Description

Data I/O knows the chip-programming business inside and out. The company makes programming systems used by electronics manufacturers to tailor their integrated circuits (ICs) to suit a broad range of products. Data I/O manufactures both manual and automated programming systems used to manufacture semiconductor components for wireless consumer electronics, automotive electronics, and flash memory cards. Data I/O sells its devices to manufacturers such as LG, Delphi, and Foxconn. The company does most of its business outside the US; in fact, Singapore-based Flextronics is its largest customer. Data I/O has locations in Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Guam, and Hong Kong.
