From fast ferries to frigates with flight decks, Damen Shipyards Group can build them and help finance them, too. The group engages in modular shipbuilding based on standardized designs -- products include tugboats, barges, workboats, patrol craft, cargo vessels, dredgers, mega yachts, and ferries. Since 1969, the ship maker has delivered more than 4,000 vessels. The group also provides services in new construction and maintenance and repair. Through Damen Customer Finance, it assists clients with financing for all types of vessels built by DAMEN operating companies. Damen Shipyards Group was founded in 1927 with a single shipyard -- it now has more than 30 shipyards around the world (including Cuba).
