Damco, a division of Denmark-based marine transportation giant A.P. Møller - Mærsk, wants to be your guide through the entire supply chain management process. The company (formerly Maersk Logistics) offers vendor and cargo management services, consulting expertise, distribution network modeling, export planning, and warehouse and distribution design services, among others. Owning more than 270 offices spanning some 90 countries, it caters to clients residing in the chemicals, retail, electronics, food, and health care products sectors. In September 2009, A.P. Møller - Mærsk merged Maersk Logistics with Damco, its freight forwarding unit. The new entity was rebranded under the Damco name.
