Company Description
DM got purely creative and struck it lucky. DM (formerly Hawthorne Holdings) became a shell company in 2003 when it sold its Poptone Group record label and film operations in a management buyout. DM then was acquired by Strike Lucky Games in a reverse acquisition and acquired Purely Creative. Strike Lucky Games creates and promotes skill and chance games distributed in newspapers and magazines; Purely Creative produces marketing competitions and promotions that are carried out over the Internet (as well as by mail and phone). To strengthen its database management services, in 2008 DM bought Data Locator Group, a UK consumer lifestyle data provider, and in 2009 bought PDV, a lead generating company.
