Company Description

DCK Concessions has become a real gem in the eyes of top jewelry retailers worldwide. The company designs and manufactures low- to mid-range jewelry. Products are sold under the brand names Diva and Freedom, through DCK's some 3,000 retail concessions in more than 30 countries. Diva is its trendier mark; sales are focused on 'tweens and younger women. Freedom, started in 1994, is more directed toward fashion-conscious women. In 2005 Barclays Private Equity, having backed DCK in a management buyout two years prior, sold its ownership stake to the HBOS unit Bank of Scotland (now Lloyds Banking Group). British jewelry magnate and co-founder, chairman Alan Witzenfeld, owns about 50% of the company.
