Company Description

Con-way Truckload moves freight from Vancouver to Veracruz and points in between. The company, formerly known as Contract Freighters, Inc. (CFI), operates a fleet of about 2,600 tractors and 8,000 trailers from five terminals in Arkansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Texas. A dry van truckload carrier, it does business throughout the US and Canada and provides service into Mexico through partnerships with local trucking companies. The former CFI was acquired in August 2007 by Con-way, a leading provider of trucking and logistics services. The company's name was changed to Con-way Truckload in January 2008 when CFI absorbed its parent company's Con-way Truckload Services unit.
