Company Description
When a drug is a mere twinkle in a scientist's eye, Compugen is there. The Israeli drug discovery company uses its expertise in computer sciences and molecular biology to predict molecular behavior and discover potential therapies and diagnostic biomarkers. It then licenses those discoveries -- focused mainly on therapeutic proteins and monoclonal antibodies (single-source proteins) in the areas of cancer and immune disorders -- to other drug firms for further development, in return for milestone payments and future royalties. It also has some proprietary development programs.
