Community Coffee is a cuppa Joe with a Cajun patois, don't you know. Boasting that it makes the largest family-owned retail coffee brand (Community Coffee) in the US, the company imports, roasts, and sells its brew in grocery and convenience stores, restaurants, hotels, and offices throughout eight southeastern states. And there's more brewing: more than 30 CC's Community Coffee Houses have sprung up in Louisiana since the original coffee shop opened in 1995 in New Orleans. The company also offers whole coffee beans, teas, chicory, and coffee-related gifts and accessories at its coffee houses as well as online. Community Coffee is owned by the descendants of Henry Norman Saurage, who founded it in 1919.
