Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) is one of the largest owners and managers of commercial property in Quebec, with a portfolio of more than 200 office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties totaling more than 18 million sq. ft. of leasable space. (Industrial and mixed-use properties represent a majority of its holdings.) In its largest acquisition to date, the REIT acquired nearly 50 office and industrial properties totaling more than 6 million sq. ft. from Alexis Nihon Real Estate Investment Trust in 2007.
