Coakley & Williams Hotel Management makes sure the sheets are clean, the bills get paid, and there's someone there to do the turndown service. The company provides services and advice to hotel owners including training; business and marketing consulting; and financial, human resource, and other operational services. It manages some 20 hotels that operate under such banners as Comfort Inn Days Inn, Hilton, and Wingate Inns. Coakley & Williams started out building and operating its own hotels in the 1970s and, in 1987, began to acquire management contracts from other hotel owners.
