Its Citizens South Financial Services subsidiary (dba Citizens South Investment Services) sells financial products. Two acquisitions of failed banks helped Citizens South move into the Georgia market. It first bought Bank of Hiawassee in 2010. The following year Citizens South acquired New Horizons Bank.
