CitationAir (formerly CitationShares) offers fractional ownership of Cessna Citation airplanes, giving customers access to private jets on several hours' notice without the expense of maintaining their own aircraft. Consumers and businesses in North America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Bermuda can buy as little as a 1/16th share of a jet, or 50 flight hours per year. CitationAir is a unit of airplane manufacturer Cessna, and its fleet includes four different Cessna models capable of carrying between six and nine passengers. Founded as CitationShares in 2000, it was rebranded as CitationAir in 2009.
