Cinco Resources is an exploration and production company on the hunt for oil and natural gas across 138,000 acres in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas, the Powder River Basin of Wyoming, and the Woodford Shale in the Arkoma Basin of eastern Oklahoma. In 2011 it produced 30 million cu. ft. of gas a day, of which about two-thirds was natural gas. Cinco Resources sells natural gas and oil to a handful of customers. The company reports estimated proved reserves of about 220 billion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent. In early 2012 Cinco Resources filed an initial public offering seeking up to $172.5 million.
