Company Description
Despite the order of its name, China Security & Surveillance Technology (CSST) proposes that surveillance leads to security. To that end, CSST makes, distributes, installs, and maintains surveillance systems and safety products, as well as develops related software, through its Chinese subsidiaries. It also offers turnkey security installation and consultation to non-profit, commercial, and government entities. Government agencies represent nearly half the company's sales, which are mostly derived from one-time installation packages rather than on-going monitoring fees. CSST manufactures its wares at its plant in Shenzhen. The company was formed as Apex Wealth Enterprises in 2002 and renamed CSST in 2006.
