China Merchants Holdings (International) Company Limited (CMHI), a part of the over-130-year-old China Merchants Group, is China's first national industrial and commercial conglomerate. It has three core businesses. In Transportation it is a pioneer of China's modern shipping industry and is the largest public port operator in China. It operates public hub ports, container terminals, toll roads, and offers related logistics, as well as invests in transportation infrastructure. It operates a fleet of over 30 oil tankers. Its Finance segment includes banking, securities, fund management, and insurance brokerage. CMHI invests in commercial real estate through its Property segment.
