Celoxica Holdings plc Rankings

Company Description

Celoxica wasn't making money from its electronic system level design software for creating high-speed semiconductors, so it sold that product line in 2008 to Agility Design Solutions (which one year later sold it to Mentor Graphics). Not finding success in the market for embedded systems, Celoxica turned its software focus to accelerated computing, particularly high-speed trading in securities and other financial instruments. Credit Suisse and NYSE Euronext are customers of the company. Celoxica was spun out from the University of Oxford's computing laboratory in 1996, and counts Creative Technology and Intel among its investors.
