Cascade Hardwood produces alder, ash, birch, and maple hardwood lumber primarily for use in furniture and cabinet manufacturing. Lengths range from six to twelve feet. Other products include hardwood pallet stock and pulp chips. Cascade Hardwood, which mainly sources its wood from forests in Washington and Oregon, purchases logs by contracting with large timber tract owners and state entities; it also buys from private landowners. The company sells its hardwood lumber throughout North America, and ships to customers in Europe and Asia. The company began operations in 1961.
