Company Description
CSU Chico, or Chico State, opened its doors in 1889 as Chico State Normal School. No longer a teacher-training school only, the university offers about 65 undergraduate majors offered by its seven colleges, as well as 35 graduate degrees. Enrollment is about 17,000, including some 1,500 graduate students. Areas of study include business administration, liberal arts, psychology, engineering, and leisure studies. The school has a large College of Agriculture, which offers degrees in agribusiness, animal science, and plant science, as well as focusing on applied agricultural research.
