Cabot Oil & Gas has estimated proved reserves of about 2.7 trillion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent. Major areas of operation include Appalachia, the Anadarko Basin (Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas), the Rocky Mountains (Wyoming), and the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. In 2010 Cabot Oil & Gas was operating almost 4,820 net wells and had about 2.3 million gross acres of undeveloped assets.
