CUTCO Corporation (formerly Alcas Corp.) cuts up in the kitchen and on the battlefield. The company's CUTCO Cutlery subsidiary makes butcher knives, paring knives, carving forks, and other household cutlery. It also makes hunting and fishing knives. Its cutlery is sold in North America via home demonstrations by Vector Marketing, a CUTCO subsidiary. The firm's KA-BAR Knives unit makes fighting and utility knives for the US military, along with hunting, fishing, and pocket knives that are sold through retailers worldwide. CUTCO International, sells CUTCO's products outside North America. Formed in 1949 by Alcoa and W.R.
