CRH Medical (formerly Medsurge Medical Products) makes and sells medical devices, most notably its single-use, disposable O'Regan Hemorrhoid Banding System. The system, which uses the rubber band ligation method, is meant to prevent cross-contamination in patients. The company is also developing a more sensitive 2 Tier Faecal Occult Blood Testing (FOBT), to be used for colorectal cancer testing. President and CEO Marc Morin owns about a quarter of the company and company director Patrick O'Regan owns another 11%.
