CITIC Pacific is a chip off the old Communist bloc. The group has investments in steel, real estate, energy, aviation, and communications. With stakes in three steel plants with an annual capacity of more than 7 million tons, CITIC Pacific is China's largest producer of specialty steel (heat-resistant, anti-corrosion, and other enhanced steel).
