Each year, Butterball produces 1 billion pounds of turkey, including many of those that grace America's tables, for the retail grocery and foodservice industries in the US and some 50 other countries. The company boasts the world's largest turkey-processing plant located in Mount Olive, North Carolina. The poultry processor also operates breeder, growing, and research farms; diagnostic labs; feed mills; and hatcheries.
