Company Description

Bagels are the focus of this dough-making enterprise. Bruegger's Enterprises operates and franchises the second-largest chain of bagel outlets in the US (behind Einstein Bros. Bagels chain), with about 300 locations in some 25 states. The eateries feature fresh, New York-style bagels that are kettle boiled and available in a variety of flavors, along with several kinds of cream cheese. Bruegger's also offers soups, salads, sandwiches, and premium coffee. The Bruegger's umbrella includes about 140 Timothy's coffee shops in Canada. Founded by partners Nord Brue and Mike Dressell in 1983, France-based restaurant operator Groupe Le Duff acquired Brugger's Enterprises from Sun Capital Partners in 2011.
