Company Description

British American Tobacco China is smokin' without having to actually touch raw tobacco leaves. The company, also known as BAT China, has been operating since 1989, when it functioned as a liaison office. In 1995 it became a branch office of parent company British American Tobacco. The firm exists not for the fabrication of tobacco products; rather, it is focused on trading, marketing, and distribution of BAT products, as well as the propagation, promotion, and protection of the BAT brand. To ensure the quality of its products, BAT China works with state-run China National Tobacco, the largest tobacco producer in the world.
