Company Description
Bri-Chem (formerly mBase Commerce) is trading in content management software for drilling fluid and steel products. Bri-Chem was formed in 2007 by the reverse merger of Gwelan Supply Ltd. and mBase Commerce. The company is a wholesaler and distributor of drilling fluid supplies for the oil and gas industry. Bri-Chem serves customers throughout western Canada and into the US. It also owns subsidiary Sodium Solutions, which offers blending and packaging services in addition to distribution. In 2008 Bri-Chem acquired steel products distributor Weifang Steel Canada. In 2011 Bri-Chem acquired Denver-based Stryker Ltd. and Stryker Transportation for $2.5 million.
