First Air provides both scheduled and chartered services. With a fleet of 20 aircraft, First Air offers scheduled flights to more than 30 communities in Alberta, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, the Yukon, and links the Canadian Arctic to Greenland. The airline was founded in 1946 by Russell Bradley and was bought by the Makivik Corporation in 1990.
