Borghese makes and markets its namesake Italian cosmetics, skin care, fragrances, and hair care products and sells its collections through high-end department stores nationwide, including Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, and Nordstrom. Its products are also marketed internationally in such countries as China, Germany, Ireland, and Mexico. President and CEO Georgette Mosbacher (also a well-known New York City Republican) holds a substantial equity stake in the company while the rest is retained by the original group of Saudi investors who purchased it upon Revlon's divestiture of the firm in 1992.
