Company Description
Bonavista Energy Corp. (formerly Bonavista Energy Trust) hopes to see increasing revenues in its vista in Western Canada. The exploration and production company focuses on four core areas in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. In 2009 the company reported it had about 1.2 million net acres of undeveloped land, the bulk of which is in Alberta. Bonavista also has proved reserves of 193,750 million barrels of oil equivalent and has identified some 700 quality drilling prospects. It has a balanced production of 61,830 barrels of oil equivalent per day. In 2011 the company converted from a trust to a corporation.
