The Roman Catholic health care organization, sponsored by the Bon Secours Ministries, set up its first hospital in Baltimore in 1919. Today, Bon Secours Health System includes nearly 20 hospitals with some 4,400 licensed acute care beds. The organization's facilities are in seven states in the eastern US, from New York to Florida.
