Bollinger Shipyards is a leading provider of shipbuilding and ship repair services for both the military and commercial marine industry on the US Gulf Coast. The company specializes in the construction, repair, and conversion of US Navy and Coast Guard patrol boats, oil tankers, and supply and utility vessels, such as barges and tugboats. It operates from some 13 shipyards, primarily in Louisiana, but also in Texas, and has access to the Mississippi River. Its more than 30 dry docks have the capability to accommodate ships ranging in size from 100 tons to 22,000 tons. It also has a more than 460,000-sq.-ft. facility for constructing vessels indoors. Bollinger Shipyards was founded in 1946 by Donald Bollinger.
