Student drivers are scary enough; good thing there's simulation school for student flyers. Boeing Training & Flight Services (formerly Alteon) offers hands-on aviation training to would-be pilots. A subsidiary of aerospace giant Boeing, it uses realistic and high-tech simulators to provide training and certification courses for pilots, first officers, maintenance technicians, and cabin crew. The company maintains training centers in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, with full-flight simulators for more than 20 models of commercial aircraft. Although it is the official training company for parent Boeing, Boeing Training & Flight Services also trains students to fly Airbus, McDonnell Douglas, and Fokker aircraft.
