Though its name may not leave a lot to the imagination, Body Glove's wetsuits get the job done. Twin brothers Bob and Bill Meistrell founded the company, which started out producing wetsuits, in the 1950s. Over the years, as the brothers became more involved with water adventure sports and designed products to fit their recreational needs, Body Glove added other products to its line, including accessory bags, sunglasses, life vests, snorkeling gear, men's and women's sportswear and swimwear, electronic accessories, and beach accessories. The gear is sold through its own stores, sporting and surfing stores, and the company's Web site. Dive N' Surf owns Body Glove. Bill Meistrell died in early 2007 at age 77.
