Company Description
The Biosciences Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) believes connections help to foster innovations for the UK's food industry. The nonprofit brings together leaders in academia, industry, and business in an effort to unlock the market potential of applied research in the biosciences, particularly sustainable manufacturing. Members have access to information on government and research council funding calls and programs, as well as to bioscience-related workshops, conferences, and road shows. The Biosciences KTN was formed in 2009 through the combination of Bioscience for Business KTN, Food Processing KTN, and Genesis Faraday. It is sponsored by the Technology Strategy Board, the Scottish government, and Defra.
