Its main products include blood sample-based GastroPanel tests used to diagnose stomach illnesses; biopsy specimen quick tests to diagnose lactose intolerance and H. pylori infections (a cause of gastric ulcers); and ColonView examinations used for the early detection of intestinal bleeding, a risk indicator of colorectal cancer. Biohit has sold its liquid handling business. Chairman Osmo Suovaniemi owns almost 24% of Biohit.
