Company Description
Germany's Benteler Group operates via three divisions: Automotive, Steel and Tubes, and Distribution. Its mainstay business, Automotive manufactures chassis components and structures, as well as exhaust systems and engine systems (cooling pipes, fuel filler necks). The company's Steel and Tube ("Stahl/Rohr") lineup includes hot finished steel tubes and seamless cold drawn precision steel tubes, used in boilers and heat exchangers. Benteler's steel tubes are also used to produce automotive parts (exhaust and fuels systems components). The company's Distribution business offers logistics and engineering services. Benteler has 150 locations in more than 35 countries. Founded in 1876, Benteler remains family-owned.
