Emphasizing brownfields redevelopment, Bellway exceeded the UK's government's stated urban renewal target of 60% by the year 2008. Its principal subsidiary, Bellway Homes Limited, operates through some 20 regional divisions that build bungalows, flats, and houses throughout the UK. The country's fourth-largest homebuilder, Bellway sells about 5,000 homes annually at an average price of about £176,000 ($273,000). It has a land bank of 18,000 plots with planning permission.
