Beijing Enterprises Holdings is a diversified industrial conglomerate with operations focused mostly on beer production and natural gas distribution. Its Beijing Yanjing Beer subsidiary is one of China's leading beer makers with about 30 breweries in 10 provinces. Meanwhile, its Beijing Gas Group operates about 7,500 km of gas pipelines supplying about 3.5 million customers with natural gas. Beijing Enterprises also operates water treatment facilities in several major urban areas of the country, and it runs toll roads in Beijing and Shenzhen. In addition, the company has a handful of small technology subsidiaries.
