Through subsidiary Balli Steel the group distributes steel as well as aluminum, chemicals, agricultural goods, and other commodities. Subsidiary Balli Trading specializes in niche markets in the Middle East. In addition to trading commodities such as nonferrous metals, chemicals, and agricultural products, it invests in the manufacture of aluminum. Balli Group's other services include financing, sourcing, logistics, and risk management. Established in 1991, the trading house grew through acquisitions such as Klockner Steel Trade (2000), Comvex (2002), and RXI (2003). Comvex is a bulk handling terminal in the Black Sea.
