Company Description

BP NGL is just marketing what comes natural. A regional unit of oil giant BP's BP Gas Power and NGL division, BP NGL is one of North America's leading natural gas producers, with extraction, fractionation, storage, transportation, and gas processing plants throughout the US and Canada. BP NGL markets more than 670,000 barrels of natural gas liquids per day. The company explores for and holds large reserves of gas in western Canada. It also operates gas gathering systems and gas plants, markets and trades gas and natural gas liquids, and is entering the petrochemicals industry. To raise cash, in 2011 BP agreed to sell its Canadian NGL operations to a Plains All American Pipeline unit for $1.7 billion.
