It distributes BBC television programming to international markets and licenses international versions of programs that are made in other countries. BBC Worldwide also oversees a portfolio of TV channels, including BBC America, BBC Entertainment, and BBC Lifestyle. In addition, it has a joint venture with Scripps Networks Interactive (UKTV). Once the owner of BBC Magazines, the company sold that business in 2011.
